Depois de sair da Blizzard, uma equipe composta de vários membros responsáveis por "Diablo" fundou a Flagship. Seu primeiro projeto, "Hellgate: London" pode parecer algo totalmente inusitado, mas promete ser uma revolução para os fãs do clássico.

"Hellgate: London" será um jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa - o que pode deixar muita gente surpresa e até decepcionada. Mas seu estilo não abandona os tradicionais jogadores de "Diablo": os personagens ainda terão habilidades únicas, ganharão experiência ao derrotar inimigos e encontrarão itens raros em suas jornadas. Ou seja, todas as opções de RPG continuam intactas, mas são colocadas numa nova perspectiva.

O universo do game se ambienta em uma Londres invadida por demônios, com a raça humana beirando à extinção. Fazendo um amálgama de tecnologia e magia, um grupo de lutadores deve vagar pela cidade e dar um fim à ameaça infernal.

O game oferecerá criação de fases aleatórias como em "Diablo", além de permitir multiplayer cooperativo. Some isso à personalização do guerreiro e às centenas de itens e você terá a rejogabilidade famosa do jogo 2D da Blizzard.
